Adoption
All of our rescued cats are looking for their forever loving home and adoption is one of the best things you can do to help.
Our mission is to rescue and rehome as many cats as possible, and without your support, we simply cannot do this. Adoption is one of the best things you can do if you live in Bali. It does not just provide a deserving and loving home to a disadvantaged cat, you are also reducing the demand for industrial-scale breeding operations that prioritise profit before animal welfare.

Donation
The Odd Cat receives requests to rescue kittens and cats suffering from abuse, abandonment injury and neglect every single day.
Whether it’s a mama cat with her kittens thrown out on the busy road or a lost kitten at the local wet market, we try our very best to rescue them all. Once they have been rehabilitated and nursed back to health, we continue to provide food, shelter and necessary veterinary care until we find them a new forever home. Over the years, both the number of requests and the cost of rescues have increased dramatically. As a private organisation that does not receive any funding, we simply cannot afford to go on. Frankly, our mission would have terminated if it was not because of generous donors and kind supporters. It goes without saying that their actions have changed and saved countless feline lives over the years. We would not have been able to do this without your help. Fostering
We understand that not everyone who wants to help is in a position to adopt. Especially if you are only staying in Bali for a short period of time or are currently uncertain about your future plans.
However, we would encourage you to consider being a foster parent. Shelters often carry significant infection risks to unvaccinated kittens and other special needs cats. While The Odd Cat continues the rescue work at the sanctuary, we often require the help of foster families to allow kittens to go through the necessary vaccination and rehabilitation processes, in preparation for their adoption. Thus foster families are crucial to our rescue mission and allow us to maximise the number of cats & kittens we can save each year. Fostering is also a wonderfully rewarding experience to provide love and care, for these most in need cats and kittens until a permanent loving home is found. Volunteering
Our volunteers play a hugely vital role in supporting our rescue mission.This is a great opportunity for those who are dedicated to
actively participate in our day-to-day rescues or those who would want to gain hands-on experience at the sanctuary. We can guarantee that volunteering at The Odd Cat is a uniquely rewarding experience. A wide range of volunteering opportunities, from front of house to social media support, is available.
